Designing NORD’s new petrol tin

SmirnovDesign specialists have successfully designed new petrol tins for HimAvto’s anti-freezing liquid NORD.

HimAvto is a large corporation manufacturing cooling liquids, heat-carriers and polymeric containers. It is one of the leaders of the market in this field.

The anti-freezing liquid NORD designed using the best Russian technologies is very popular with customers owing to its high quality and affordable price.

SmirnovDesign set to redesign NORD's petrol tins to breathe a new life into the brand.

The main aim for our designers was to create an elegant and moderate product that should, however, have its own image that could become the brand’s recognizable feature. But beside that it should comply with the already existent graphic elements of the corporate style.

As for the tin’s construction the main consideration was of course its usability. The customer should feel comfort and product’s high class once holding the product.

SmirnovDesign specialists were successful in creating a product fully satisfying both the client’s and customer’s requirements: a comfortable handle, a rough surface stopping the tin from slipping out of hands, a measuring scale allowing to control the level of liquid and attractive appearance distinguishing NORD among other similar products.
