Loud-speaking communication device of high protection

SmirnovDesign specialists have successfully designed a loud-speaking communication device that serves to provide loud-speaking two-way communication on open and closed grounds of any type at industrial enterprises including premises with high level of danger. Similar products on the market usually have plain and dreary appearance.

SmirnovDesign’s designers had to develop a product with modern looks matching its purpose and at the same time making it stand out among similar devices on the market.

The purpose of the device defined its design: the product should be clearly visible from far away and provide for secure communication in working and extraordinary situations. Beside that while designing the product SmirnovDesign specialists decided to equip the device with an alarm lantern.

In the process of product development our specialists made a working prototype in full scale. This allowed the client to get a clear idea of the exterior and functionality of the future mass product.

While designing the product high requirements for the safety of the casing were taken into account. In particular the casing must endure mechanical blows with acceleration peak value up to 147 mps with the whole amount of blows amounting to 1500 without any mechanical damage and be water-proof.

Taking into consideration such high requirements as well as large dimensions of the product (540х160х150mm) it was essential to choose the right material. A plastic of high durability and low disposition to shrinkage was chosen – glass-filled polycarbonate. And because of the large quantity of embedded elements in the product the material must also be of high thermostability.

The experience gained by SmirnovDesign and SmirnovTechnology specialists as well as cohesive work of the designers and engineers allowed to solve all problems and manufacture a high-quality mass product.
