A next result of cooperation between studio SmirnovDesign and Holland company RL Technologies B.V. became a high-tech brand-new – smartphone with functions of standard mobile phone, pocket computer, MP3 player and videophone. As in all last projects (demo device for miniature text input, notebook with creit card sizes and mobile phone), at the heart of the device is innovative technology of text information input UNITAP, a license for use of which belongs to RL Technologies B.V. A principal advantage of the technology is in the possibility to create not only subminiature devices with lots of functions and technological improvements – there are a large number of such by now, but of devices with excellent ergonomic features. Ergonomic characteristics of designed articles become a determinative factor for a consumer in the age of total miniaturization. This smartphone, being a sample of advanced technologies, on the other hand, is an extremely convenient by use device. For instance, it is equipped with a QWERTY keyboard of full value with sizes of 64,2 mm х 32,4 mm by total dimensions of 20,5 mm x 82,2 mm x 46 mm (less then a business card) and weight of about 100 g only. |
