Barrier Optima flter

For company Mettem Technology studio designed a desk-top filter for purifying flowing water. The model was titled BARRIER OPTIMA.

In the process of designing the article there were should be considered at least two aspects of using OPTIMA. Firstly, the filter should be in harmony with the surrounding it kitchen interior and even strengthen its peculiarity. That’s why selecting special colour spectrum and, mainly, quiet lines and shapes play an important role. Secondly, the filter must respond to all ergonomic requirements of its use: fast connecting with a tap and easy treatment with filtered water. In order to the article would respond to these requirements, designers provided it with a flexible plastic hose connecting it with a tap in a second. Design of spout made of stainless steel is designed so that it could be turned in two surfaces.

One of the biggest advantages of the filter is its small dimensions – the smallest among its analogs in this range of products.

BARRIER OPTIMA is provided with a microprocessor indicator which detects the duration of operating a changeable cassette and give signals in case it should be replaced. In turn, the cassette is a part of the set and contains high-quality coconut activated carbon impregnated with silver with fiber ion-exchanging materials.
