SmirnovDesign participated in Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum that was held from 8th to 10th of June. In the course of the forum organised by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia and held for the 11th time already 9 stands that exposed the most prominent for Russia economic themes were built on the site of the largest Saint Petersburg exhibition centre «Lenexpo».

Products designed by SmirnovDesign and produced by Russian manufacturers were exhibited at the stand of industrial design which draw much attention from the participants. The stand was divided into three parts: «history of design», «education» and «industrial design in Russia today».

«Industrial design in Russia today» was almost entirely represented by SmirnovDesign's work samples. Our experts introduced an ultrasonic medical device, Sitronics safety devices and many others.
It is also worth mentioning that Bolzano Villetri one of the leaders in the field of acoustics presented its Hi-End acoustic system designed by SmirnovDesign as an example of Russian industrial design. The loudspeakers of Campanile series became, undoubtedly, the most popular showpiece of the stand and roused many positive feedback from the exhibition participants and visitors.

The stand dedicated to product design was positioned between plenary session hall and Sochi-2014 stand, but despite such notable "neighbours" draw attention of many guests. It was included into the itinerary of CSI presidents visiting the exhibition, as well as the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

In all the Saint-Petersburg Forum was visited by representatves of 65 countries, around 9 thousand people including 9 presidents of different countries.

The participation in Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum by SmirnovDesign resulted into several big projects in the fields of medicine and instrumentation.
